A mosaic and eyelet cowl.

Gauge: (in the round and measured after blocking): Mosaic Herringbone pattern using larger needles: 26 sts & 30 rows = 4”/10cm; Eyelet pattern using smaller needles: 26 sts & 28 rows = 4”/10cm
Finished Measurements: 28”/71cm circumference; 10.5”/27cm height

Materials Used: Spincycle 100% Merino Wool (400yd/100g) - 1 skein natural grey; Spincycle Dyed in the Wool (200yd/50g) - 1 skein Melancholia
Needle Size: US 6/4.0mm - 24”/60cm circulars & US 5/3.75mm - 24”/60cm circulars


Striped lace cowl with I-cord edges

Gauge: 16 sts x 25 rows = 4in/10cm
Finished Measurements: 65” around; 11.5” wide

Materials Used: 610 yards fingering weight; 215 yards dk weight
Needle Size: US 9/ 5.5 mm


Lace Cowl

Gauge: 15 stitches x 22 rows = 4 in/ 10 cm
Finished Measurements: 13.5” height; Circumference: 30” at neck; 38” at base
Materials Used: 150 yards bulky yarn; 100 yards worsted weight yarn
Needle Size: US 8/ 5.0 mm; US 9/ 5.5 mm; US 10/ 6.0mm


Cabled Scarf

Gauge: 19 stitches = 4 in/ 10cm
Finished Measurements: 10 x 64 inches
Materials Used: 500 yards worsted weight yarn
Needle Size: US 8/ 5.0 mm


Mosaic moebius cowl knit in the round.

Gauge: 24 sts & 46 rnds = 4”/10 cm
Finished Measurements: Height - 10”/25.5 cm; Circumference - 29”/73.5 cm
Materials Used: Main Color (MC) - 348 yd/318 m/70 g Fingering Weight; Contrast Color (CC) - 360 yd/330/ 90 g Fingering or Sport Weight
Needle Size: US 5/3.75 mm


Stranded color work möbius cowl.

Gauge: 20 sts & 26 rows = 4” / 10 cm; measured over stockinette stitch in the round , after blocking
Finished Measurements: Height - 8.25”/21 cm; Circumference - 31.5”/80 cm
Materials Used: Worsted weight yarn in 4 contrasting colors - 100% Baby Yak; 50 g/125 yds/117 m of each color
Needle Size: US 7/4.5 mm (16”/40 cm circular needle, recommended) - A second needle of the same size will be needed to finish the cowl (*Note: Use the needle size you need to achieve gauge.); Crochet hook for Provisional Cast On (Size E, F, or G is recommended)


A cowl that wears like an asymmetrical triangle shawl with beautiful shifting colors

Gauge: 25 sts and 37 rows = 4”/10cm over stockinette stitch
Finished Measurements: circumference – 26”/66cm, Center depth – 22.5”/57cm, Back neck depth - 10”/25.5 cm
Materials Used: Sport Weight Yarn – 3 colors 200 yd each
Needle Size: Size US 5/3.75mm (24in/60cm circular recommended)


Syncopated brioche cowl

Gauge: 11.5 sts and 16 rows (19.5 sts and 26 rows) = 4 in/ 10 cm
Finished Measurements: 27in/69cm (49in/125cm); Height 14in/36cm (9.5in/24cm )

Materials Used:

  • Single - 3 colors DK weight yarn, MC - 190g/375yd; CC1 - 110g/220yd; CC2 - 90g/180yd
  • Double - 3 colors fingering weight yarn, MC - 165g/605yd; CC1 - 95g/350yd; CC2 - 75g/275yd 

Needle Size: Size US 10/6mm - 24 in/60 cm circular (US6/4mm - 32 in/80 cm circular)
