PATTERN NOTES
These slippers begin with the heel, which is worked flat. Then, the piece is folded and joined in the round for the foot. The toe is shaped with basic decreases and Kitchener stitch is used to graft the toes. The back of the heel is sewn together using mattress stitch. Stitches are then picked up along the top of the heel and a folded cuff is worked flat. The side edges of the cuff create a front split and the doubled fabric is closed using mattress stitch. A slip stitch crochet edging is used along the front of the front of the foot. Finally, the contrast color is used to smock the cables.

Cinnamon Swirl Stole - crochet
Sweet color blocking and gorgeous textures come together to create the breathtaking Cinnamon Swirl. This crochet piece is full of diamonds and bobbles and is finished off with fringe for an extra special touch. Worked up in deliciously soft Nymph, this piece will keep you cozy on the coldest days, but because it’s primarily made from cotton, you’ll be comfortable on those surprisingly warm days, too!

PATTERN NOTES
This stole is made one panel at a time by color. Once one panel is complete, you will attach the next color of yarn to the starting row and chain the length of the next panel. Once you stitch back towards the first panel, you will work slip stitches into it to seam the two together as you work. The finished effect is a color blocked stole without seaming, so the fabric is smooth like intarsia but allows you to focus on one stitch panel at a time.

Always skip stitches behind Front Post (FP) stitches as they count as a stitch.

Cinnamon Swirl Stole - knit
The knit version of this pattern was adapted from the original crochet version of the pattern, designed by Ashley Jane McIntyre.

Red, White, and Bobbles all over! The Cinnamon Swirl Stole (knit version) echoes the spirit of the holidays. Nymph has fuzzy nylon fibers blown through the cotton chainette base of the yarn, which gives the entire project an ethereal and snowy-looking halo. With bold candy-stripe color blocking and lots of texture from the stitch patterns and bobbles, this is a statement accessory you’ll want to wear all winter.

PATTERN NOTES
This stole is worked flat from the bottom up in one piece using intarsia. When changing to a new color, bring the old color up and around the new color to prevent any holes from forming in the piece. Use a separate ball of yarn for each section. The pattern instructions indicate when to change colors.

Stitch patterns are both written and charted. For additional convenience, we have included a Stitch Pattern Layout to serve as a visual guide. It indicates where each chart is positioned as well as color changes.
Color-blocked fringe is applied to each end during finishing.

Crystalline Cowl
Even if you don’t plan to spend days on the slopes this year, you can embrace the après ski style of luxurious and cozy knitwear! The Crystalline Cowl combines three of our yarns into a textured, shimmering, and fully lined accessory you can wear loose and draped around your neck or doubled up for the chilliest days. Dona’s 100% extrafine merino wool provides warmth and held with Universe it creates a shimmering texture that reminds us of a fresh snowfall. The liner, worked in luxurious eyelash yarn Minou, is so soft and cozy, you’ll want to wear this cowl all winter long.

Enchanted Scarf
Driving around looking at holiday decorations is a beloved pastime during the winter season. Grab a cup of cocoa and throw on your favorite scarf before you head out the door! A cabled pattern reminiscent of garland decorates each end, while a lattice-like twisted stitch pattern reminds us of lovely lights. Delicate, yet rustic Kingston Tweed makes a beautiful backdrop for these decorative stitches, and fringe at each end is like little icicles hanging from a roof.

Evergreen Shawl

There’s a reason that most knitters love to make shawls. Watching the piece come to life as you work, and then wrapping yourself up in the soft fabric are wonderful feelings. The Evergreen Shawl is like a beautiful forest in the wintertime, with a lace pattern on the main fabric that resembles trees dotting a landscape. Deluxe Worsted 100% wool will keep you warm and toasty, but the lace edging makes this piece easy to dress up or down when you need it.

GAUGE
16 sts x 22½ rows = 4” in Fir Tree patt

PATTERN NOTES
This shawl is knit from the bottom up. Stitches are decreased on the right edge every four rows, decreasing to the tip. The bottom edge features seed stitch and transitions into a lovely lace pattern. A decorative edge adorns the side of the shawl, but causes stitch counts to fluctuate throughout the pattern. There will be some decrease rows in which the stitch count remains stable due to increases occurring in the Edging pattern.

We recommend placing markers between each pattern repeat to help you stay on track.

Maintain patterns as established throughout all shawl shaping. If there are not enough stitches to work a yarnover and its corresponding decrease, or enough stitches to complete a Left or Right Twist, work these stitches in Stockinette Stitch instead.

Gingersnap Hats

Hats are the ultimate winter accessory. Not only are they necessary, but when you make them yourself, you have endless room to play and create something special. The Ginger Snap Hats are a trio of patterns rolled into one! Perfect to make as holiday gifts for loved ones, or a special treat for yourself, these festive hats combine a variety of stitch patterns and techniques into one kit that you’ll love making and wearing.

Cuddly and sweet, Marshmallow is such a treat! This adorable stuffed friend is plump and soft as the namesake confectionary. At nearly 20” tall, he’s the ideal snuggle buddy and would make a great gift for any little one in your life. Worked in velvety Bella Chenille Big Glimmer, Marshmallow sports an iridescent glimmer and is super quick to knit. We’ve given him a cozy little sweater in the lighter companion yarn, Bella Chenille. The body is worked in the round up to the neck, then his head is created. His arms and ears are knit separately and sewn to the body and head. His sweater is knit in the round from the bottom up.

Please note that the Marshmallow pattern makes the most of one ball of Bella Chenille Big Glimmer and will use nearly the entire skein. You will need to unravel your swatch and take extra care to be mindful of gauge.

Polar Nights Cowl
Inspired by the long, starry nights of the arctic, Polar Nights is a glimmering cowl you’ll love all winter long. It features a Marius-inspired colorwork motif in sparkling gold Ricorumi Lamé DK on a background of deep blue holding a strand each of extra fine merino Donnina and mohair/silk blend Rico Design Super Kid Mohair Loves Silk together. This combination creates a decadent, soft halo that’s a treat to wear around your neck.

All slipped stitches in this pattern are worked purlwise with yarn held in back (towards the wrong side) of work.
Please note that the stranded pattern is charted only. We recommend placing stitch markers between each pattern repeat to help you stay on track.

This cowl uses the stranded knitting technique. None of the floats between color changes are more than five stitches wide, however, if you find that your floats are too tight, you may wish to knit with your work held inside out.
