Our friend Lucinda at MonTricot in Canada has made this wonderful pattern that was supposed to be for LYS day. Since LYS day was canceled amid the stay at home orders, she released it on Ravelry to the public. This wrap begins as a triangle. Then, once the width is achieved, the stitch count remains the same to create a rectangular wrap with an arrow-like edge. We are making kits with Urth Yarns that will drop ship immediately to get you going.
"This weekend we would have been celebrating Local Yarn Shop Day with so many of our close friends. Instead, we are taking this party virtual.
Who knew that instead of hanging out together and having a party, we would be practicing our social distancing. In Canada, we keep hearing about the 2 meters of distancing and in the US its 6 feet. This shawl is perfect to measure whether you are doing it correctly or you can snuggle with someone you love." -Lucinda
