Simple yet addictive, this slouchy lace hat playfully twists the fabric and allows the variegated colors of Cinema shine. You’ll whip this hat up in no time at all, and we’re sure you’ll be tempted to make many more.

You may wish to place markers between each pattern repeat to ensure you stay on track.

Plaid Cowl Designed by Amy Gunderson

PATTERN NOTES
Bold lines, vibrant colors, and a touch of cashmere make this cowl an irresistible project. Worked seamlessly in the round, this cowl features a seed stitch border and combines stripes and applied crochet lines to create a plaid effect.

The purl columns in the Plaid Pattern serve two purposes: they form “reminder” lines for where the slip-stitch crochet chains go. They also allow the slip-stitch chains to “nest,” blending almost seamlessly into the rest of the fabric.

When working in Plaid Pattern, there is no need to cut contrast colors – instead, carry yarn through the inside of the work.

Mist Hat Designed by Universal Yarn Design Team

PATTERN NOTES
Lofty, and soft, the Mist Hat is sure to keep your ears warm on cool, drizzly days.
This hat is worked seamlessly in the round from the bottom up. Panels of slipped stitches are framed by ribbing and seed stitch – and the slipped stitches create a gentle scallop along the brim. Simple stitches allow the variegation of Cinema to shine. Top it off with a pom pom and you have your new favorite hat!
