Leg Warmers

Easy peasy strips of knitting in K2, P2 rib and stocking stitch sewn up to create a tube to make a leg warmer. Make them in one colour or two, three or even multi colour stripes, random or even.

Little Fur Gilet

A very simple vest knitted in basic garter stitch and made in natural fur wool to layer over lighter weight pieces to keep baby snug.

Stitch Cardigan

The simplest of shapes knitting in moss / seed stitch with wide comfortable neck, short cap raglan sleeves and fastened with a single button.

Garter Stitch Blanky

An essential blanket in basic knit stitch, great to familiarise yourself with knitting whilst waiting  for baby to arrive. Make it as a ‘welcome’ gift for baby or a cosy accessory for outdoors in the stroller. Every row is knitting in knit stitch but with wide border in a contrast colour.

Sweater

A basic long sleeve sweater knitting in stocking stitch throughout. Easy to ‘pop over’ baby’s head without any tears, with a wide roll neck and simple button fastening. Add your own details with side vents and iron on (washable) elbow patches in ditsy floral print or fine shirting stripe.

Hat

The easiest and quickest hat ever on two needles! Made entirely in stocking stitch. Simply shaped at the brim by using smaller size needles and simple decreases at the crown. Use this pattern as a basic, make it in plain colour, stripes, as given here, add a little embroidery or Liberty print fabric bow.
