Cozy Utility

Asher Set, Designed by Aubrey Busek. Matching sets aren’t just for garments – we love them for accessories, too! The Asher Set is a contemporary ensemble of a uniquely-shaped shawl and classic pom pom hat. The richly textured Diamond Lattice motif decorates the plush fabric created by lovely Posh Alpaca – a yarn perfect to craft pieces for luxury lounging. While you’re working from home or reading a book, wrap the Asher Shawl around your shoulders. When you’re ready for your coffee run, keep the shawl, but grab the hat and set off to your favorite café.

Stitches for the Neckband are picked up during Finishing and worked in the round.

Important Note: This pattern is primarily charted. Although stitch counts and instructions are provided for construction after the Front and Back Body are joined in the round, separate charts are provided for each the Front and Back, and these charts are separate for each size. Please be sure to work the correct charts for your chosen size. The Sleeves are also fully charted. If you are new to knitting from charts, you can find useful tips and tricks at this blog post (link).

This cowl is worked seamlessly in the round. It begins with a provisional cast-on. The cowl is worked double length, and then the provisional cast-on is unraveled and the two ends of the pattern are joined together using a three-needle bind-off for a double-thick, seamless cowl.
