Terrestrial Top Kit

Difficulty Intermediate

NOTES

  • This top is worked back and forth in pieces from the bottom up and seamed.

  • Stitch counts assume each lace repeat is 16 stitches wide.

  • When working the neck shaping, if there are not enough stitches for half of a lace repeat, work those stitches in stockinette stitch instead.

  • A circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches.

Needles Size 3 (3.25 mm): 32” circular (cir) and two double-pointed (dpn). Size 2 (2.75 mm): 16” cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle.

Gauge 27 sts and 36 rows = 4” in St st on larger needle.
