Inspired by tendrils of smoke rising through a brick chimney on a cold night, Chimney Socks feature twisted rib cuffs, Fair Isle legs, and brickwork patterned feet. The heel flaps are graced by a sturdy and beautiful eye-of-partridge stitch. These cozy DK-weight socks are perfect for lounging by the hearth.

Tip: reverse the colors to get a second pair out of the included yarn!.

  • Color copy of pattern
  • Universal Yarn Deluxe DK Superwash (100% superwash wool; 100g/284 yds)
    • 848 Coral Heather – 1 ball
    • 839 Smoke Heather – 1 ball

    • US Size 4 (3.5 mm)  or 40" circular for magic loop
    • US Size 3 (3.25 mm)  or 40" circular for magic loop

These socks are knit in the round from the cuff down. Each section is also charted for your convenience.

Needle C - US Size 5 (3.75 mm) set of DPNs or 40" circular for magic loop

Japan has its own sizing conventions when it comes to crafting. Universal has stickered the card with the closest US equivalent, while the Japanese sizing still imprinted on the needle itself.
