Designed by Rachel Brockman
This pattern utilizes Elizabeth Zimmermann’s Pi Construction, in which rings of lace are worked between shaping rounds. This piece is worked in the round from the center-out.
Blocking this blanket takes time and care – we highly recommend utilizing blocking wires. Ample stretch is required to fully relax the fabric. In this instance, we recommend steam-blocking to “kill” the acrylic.

Universal Yarn Uptown Worsted (100% anti-pilling acrylic; 100g/180 yds)

Needles: US Size 8 (5 mm) set of DPNs, 24”, & 40” circ or longer or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers, blocking wires (recommended)
