Designed by Rachel Brockman. A dream in rings of lace, the Twinkle Cover will satisfy your knitting urge to make something both challenging and beautiful. Exquisitely detailed lace reminds us of twinkling light patterns and the unique beauty in snowflakes This blanket will be one you cherish for every winter to come. This pattern utilizes Elizabeth Zimmermann’s Pi Construction, in which rings of lace are worked between shaping rounds. This piece is worked in the round from the center-out. Blocking this blanket takes time and care – we highly recommend utilizing blocking wires. Ample stretch is required to fully relax the fabric. In this instance, we recommend steam-blocking to “kill” the acrylic.
