The basic ingredients for all our cold processed handmade soap are as follows:

Olive Oil - Naturally green in color, it contains protein, minerals and vitamins including an antioxidant called Hydroxytyrosol. Olive oil soap is known to provide relief to such skin conditions as eczema and psoriasis; and is non-greasy and will not clog pores, helping those with acne.

Coconut Oil - Naturally uncolored, is an emollient, which means it naturally moisturizes and acts as a skin balm. This also means that it is able to draw water out of the air to dampen the skin, helping the skin retain as well as absorb minerals and vitamins. Can be applied directly to the skin as a moisturizer, and to treat psoriasis.

Hemp Oil - Light brown in color, it is a great source of polyunsaturated essential fatty acids called linoleic, and gamma-linolenic acids. These essential fatty acids, are required for the skin to maintain moisture. This makes hemp oil, one of the best skin moisturizers, in the world. It provides moisture for the skin, also help relieve the symptoms of many common skin conditions, when used regularly. Acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin-inflammation and many other skin ailments, may be treated easily and effectively, with hemp oil-based products. It has been said that when applied topically to the skin, hemp oil products may be used to prevent drying, and have been shown to help reduce the signs of both wrinkles and aging when used regularly.

Organic Shea Butter - Contains vitamin A and E. Which are important for improving a number of skins conditions, including blemishes, wrinkles, eczema, and dermatitis, as well as having properties that treat skin allergies, insect bites, sunburns, frostbites, and a number of other conditions of the skin. Also having anti-aging, an anti-free radical agent, and exerting a positive effect on increasing the micro-circulation properties.

Soybean Oil - Pale yellow in color, it contains protein, minerals and vitamins. It helps produce a creamy, stable lather. Provides conditioning and mild cleansing; good on all skin types.

Water – the most abundantly found commodity on earth.

Lye – made from wood ash and water, it produces a stable, hard soap that is able to combine many oils to get the mix of desired properties.

Fragrance - in the form of natural added ingredients that also provide an exfoliant and essential oils which are made directly from the plant.

In addition to our basic soap, certain soaps may contain:

* Peppermint – Contains numerous minerals and nutrients including manganese, iron, magnesium, calcium, folate, potassium, and copper. It also contains omega-3 fatty acids, Vitamin A and Vitamin C. The fragrance of peppermint is relaxing and soothing and can help calm you down during a panic attack or stressful time. It has a cooling effect on the skin, brightens dull skin and improves oily skin making it a perfect acne remedy. Good on dandruff on both you and your pets and also removes lice and fleas.
* Oatmeal – contains many natural chemicals including: saponins (a form of natural detergent), a high level of starch and beta-glucan (a polysaccharide with inhibiting abilities), which is primarily responsible for its moisture-retentive properties, phenols (a form of antiseptic), which encompass its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and ultraviolet absorbing properties. It suppresses the "need to scratch," which is especially useful for use on irritated, dry skin and conditions including insect bites; acne; eczema; psoriasis; sunburn; sores; chicken pox; poison ivy, oak or sumac; shingles; prickly heat; and other itching, tingly rashes.
