Do you want a beautiful container for your yarn while you're knitting that keeps your yarn safe from pets and kids, and looks pretty while doing it? JaMpdx's yarn bowl is the solution for you!
Porcelain bowl and lid are decorated with scrolls or clusters of flowers that were piped on using cake-decorating tools and techniques--just like what you would find on a cake! The cut-out curving swirl will guide your yarn out of the bowl, and you can put your needles in the small holes when you are taking a break. Because only the lid is carved, the bowl can be used for soup, ice cream or other tasty things when you are between projects.
The bowl by itself measures 5 1/2" across and 3 1/2" tall, and with the lid on the yarn bowl measures 6 1/4" across and 5" tall. It is shown here with 350 yards of sock weight yarn; you can see it is an easy fit. The needles fit sizes 7 and 10 needles, making this yarn bowl ideal for most projects.
