Advanced Double Knitting II: Parallelograms



Have you seen those "minky" patchwork quilts? The ones with the plushy, soft fabric on one side every other square and the flannel or cotton on the other? We have been wanting to recreate one, but it hadn't been done before, so we had to literally write the book on it!

Other yarns may be used, but must be pre-approved before class starts - meaning if you plan on doing this "day of", you need to be here at least an hour prior to class, otherwise you will be bumped into the next class session - there will be no "make-up" offered in these cases. Please plan appropriately.

Materials Included: Pattern
Requirements: Must have taken Advanced Double Knitting I or be able to show completed double knit project experience. Required Skills: Knit, purl, move markers, & basic double knitting. Will Learn: Working multiple stitches into one stitch on needle with multiple yarns, work I-cord cast on, work 2 different yarn textures on a single project; and if inclined, intarsia (multiple colors & balls of yarn) while double knitting.
