Cables & Lace: Glisten Cowl

The halo of Alaska combined with the sequined sparkle of Cotton Gold makes for a thing of beauty in the Glisten Cowl. One strand of each of these very different yarns is held together throughout the work.

The front part of the cowl is an intriguing cable and lace pattern, while the back is simple garter stitch. The garter section allows your mind to rest before diving back into the patterned section. The difference between the two sections is also visually pleasing allowing the intricate cables to shine more brightly.

The Glisten cowl is worked circularly from the bottom up beginning with an I-cord cast on developed by Tish to get a nice 1st row and you don't have to do a provisional CO or pick it up and work another edge. The top edge is finished with an I-cord bind off. So when you're done, you're done!
