Advanced Double Knitting: Minky Blanket

Have you seen those "minky" blankets? The ones with the plushy and soft fabric on one side and the flannel or cotton on the other? We have and we love them, but when we got our hands on the Furreal from Knitting Fever, we knew just what we wanted to make, but it hadn't been done before, so we had to literally write the book on it!

Yarn B - Furreal by Knitting Fever (71yds ea.)

Yarn A -

  • 14” sq Security/Lovey: 1 each. This is the minimum required for this class.
  • 24” sq Carseat/Stroller Lap: 2 each.
  • 26” x 30”Cuddle & Cover: 3 each
  • 32” x 36” Large Stroller: 4 each
  • 38” x 45” Sleep & Play: 6 each
We can calculate the yardage for larger blankets as well.

Other yarns may be used, but must be pre-approved before class starts - meaning if you plan on doing this "day of", you need to be here at least an hour prior to class, otherwise you will be bumped into the next class session - there will be no "make-up" offered in these cases. Please plan appropriately.
