Noro Steeked Poncho

Worked from the top down in the round, Christy Kay Morse’s poncho uses knitted steeks to create the side vents, giving it that extra swing. the main body is stockinette, withgarter stitch trimming the neck, side vents and lower edges. Shown in the browns and beiges of Kotori colorway #9 make for earthy striping.

Needed but not included*:
  • 10.5/6.5mm circular needles in preferred length(s)
  • K/6.5mm crochet hook
  • Stitch markers, stitch holder/waste yarn or spare needle, scissors, tapestry needle.

* Class instruction is free with the purchase of required yarn and pattern from our shop.  Needles and notions sold separately and are 10% off for students when purchasing in-store at the same time or for online purchasers when they pick up their materials in store. Crochet hooks are not needed until class, and may be purchased on day of class, but keep in mind that we only stock so many at a time, so it is best to buy them at the time of your other materials or pre-order them to pick up on the class date.

(you may opt for the whole magazine for $2 more while supplies last). 

Until New Year's you can order any color for this class. But, after Jan 1st, due to shipping times and knitting time needed to complete poncho prior to class, the yarn availability for this will be limited to stock on hand.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner
Materials Included: Yarn & pattern.
Requirements: We will only instructing the steeking as the poncho itself is a relatively simple project to knit. The poncho must be knitted independantly, prior to class date and ready to steek.
