To all of our loyal fans,
It has been our pleasure to serve you over the past five years. We have enjoyed building the Sheep’s Clothing family with you. As owners we have been blessed by your patronage and friendship. Many of you are aware that our lease is up at the end of June and that we have been searching for a new location. As a part of this process, John and I decided that we as a family also needed to move on.
Sheep’s Clothing is near and dear to our hearts, and as we made the decision to move on and pursue other ventures, we wanted to leave you with a shop that will continue to meet your needs. We’ve worked hard to come up with a plan for continuity in this transition and to that end I’d like to introduce anyone who doesn’t know her to Tish Wilcox, who has worked at the shop for 5 years now. She has been part of the purchasing decisions on all of the spring yarn, so you’ve already been seeing some of her color influences and so far everyone is loving them.
As part of the process, the shop is also moving back to Clearwater Ave.
John and I will also be making a change of address around the same time. I have decided to go back to teaching full-time, as I have really missed my daily time with children. Hyak Photography will be moving with us.
We have desired to move back to a larger metropolitan area, and have decided now is the time to do so. We’re moving back to what is, effectively, John’s hometown of Las Vegas, NV. Land of bright lights, and the same desert as here but with 3 inches less rain. Marcia has accepted a job at Richard C. Priest Elementary School teaching 4th grade, which was her first love even before yarn. We are sad to leave you all, but excited to head to a new city and explore the southwest US.
